How to make delicious Green Tea

Green Tea:

Green tea is one of the most popular teas for weight loss due to its high content of catechins, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which is believed to boost metabolism and promote fat oxidation.

Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon green tea leaves or 1 green tea bag

1 cup water (8 ounces)

Optional: lemon slices or honey for flavor

Instructions:

Boil water and let it cool slightly to around 160-170°F (70-80°C). Avoid using boiling water, as it may cause the tea to become bitter.

If you’re using loose tea leaves, place them in a teapot or tea infuser. Alternatively, use a green tea bag.

Pour the hot water over the tea leaves or tea bag in your cup or teapot.

Let the tea steep for 2-3 minutes. Adjust the steeping time based on your taste preferences; longer steeping can result in a stronger flavor but may also increase bitterness.

Remove the tea leaves or tea bag from the cup or teapot.

Optionally, add a few slices of lemon or a teaspoon of honey for added flavor. Lemon is believed to boost the weight loss properties of green tea due to its vitamin C content.
